I just saw the band tonight for the first time at the Live After Five outdoor concert in downtown Baton Rouge. Really enjoyed the show.

Saturday's gig at St James was wonderful, even in the weather, and without special effects. Dan & I had a great time, and totally worth the drive. We had so much fun, and he got some photos I've gotta share with you guys. And, come on... what a green room. That's something you don't see everyday!

Outstanding concert in Lowell, MA on 8/28. The audience was wet and not so large but you put on a show worthy of a filled stadium on a sunny day, picking up our soggy spirits and impressing everyone with your enthusiasm, skill, and professionalism. The reggae songs were beautiful - zydeco/reggae is a winning combination. And a zydeco spin on "Just Like a Woman" - what a great fusion of style & song. The anthem for Ted Kennedy was a touching finale, showcasing Terrance's vocal skills. I thought it was just my bias/passion for electric guitar that had me loving your guitar passages, but then I found the next night, when he joined Ronnie Earl for the next Lowell concert (another great show, but indoors with no rain to conquer), that the excellence of Jose Alvarez is no secret - let him shine. Terrance's guest appearance with Earl was another treat. Thanks so much for all the pleasure a great band can give an audience with such an enthusiastic show. Even the washboard player bristled with enjoyment. To anyone thinking of seeing this band: have no doubt; go, and enjoy it much more than you could have anticipated. A great delight. Thanks to everyone who made this concert happen.

Thanks for a great show in Lowell this evening. In spite of a small crowd because of cold weather and rain you put on a great show and got us all up out of our lawn chairs. It was a great show! And thanks for dedicating the National Anthem to the memory of the late Senator Ted Kennedy.

I drove all the way down to VA to catch you all at the Bayou Festival. It was worth the trip. You all are sweethearts and I can't thank you enough for bringing me up on stage to have fun with you all. I have some pictures I will send shortly. Hope you all make your way up north some time soon! One true fan, Honeyrock

Hey hey T! I made it home before you made your plane! Whatta hoot tonight. Ralph, Danny, Taylor, Keith, Eric, Jose & Rich kicked real hard. And it felt like Rick Danko was up there singing with ya. When the photos come out we'll send them along to you and Eric's mom. I can't wait to tell Levon what you sounded like, maybe Amy Helm will sing with you someday. And that old time zydeco was such a pleasant surprise coming out of left field like that. It's a cliche..., but See you in September on the beach. One love. Thanks to the master & his stellar crew.
