The Mardi Gras parades, balls and tours may all be on hold until 2022, but the music plays on with a very special livestream concert event from Vermilionville Performance Center, Lafayette, LA on February 13, 2021 at 7:30 Central time.
Yep, the band is back together y’all! Their last time on stage was at Stocker Arts Center at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio on February 29, 2020 for a blowout Mardi Gras party for 1000 people. Throughout the pandemic we did what everyone else did; paused, processed it all, pivoted and planned for the future! We played a lil music too, mostly acoustic and from our COVID space.
Like the rest of the world during the pandemic, we also got connected by Zoom in a hurry! It gave us all much needed, uplifting moments of love and togetherness. We finished a studio album and Terrance and Danny filmed a cooking video. Terrance did some inspiring educational outreach with some amazing college students that really gave him purpose. He also participated in some fabulous Zoom cocktail parties that lifted our spirits – next level!
The entire Zydeco Experience band will be doing what they’ve done best for the past 4 decades – exporting the music and culture of Louisiana! They have exported the music and Creole culture every Mardi Gras for 35 years to 100’s of cities, bringing joy and getting bums moving! This time y’all can come to us via a livestream from Lafayette, LA.
But wait, there’s more! This performance will feature a very special guest, the beautiful and talented Marcella Simien will be joining the group on stage. There will be a Backstage Pass in the first 30 minutes with personal greetings from the band and a lively discussion about Creole Mardi Gras traditions of South Louisiana.
Using a three camera shoot, Mardi Gras Mambo – Live From Louisiana, promises to be a high quality production, and night of fun and togetherness. There is no doubt we could all use a lil more fun in our lives right now, right?!
Livestream concert tickets also makes really unique client gifts and Mardi Gras gives us another reason to celebrate life and feel festive for few days!
