Vibe check; according to this from C.A. it was all good on Feb. 15, 2025 when we debuted our Zydeco Experience performance ft. Marcella Simien at the hip space, Midland Center for the Arts in Midland, Michigan. The audience and staff were so righteous, and this inspiring quote proves we can have it all, too! Loving energy, positivity AND fun!
We have a long tour history in Michigan that dates back to the late 80’s, but touring is cyclical and we’ve just been elsewhere in recent years. It seems though that we’ve fallen in love with Michigan all over again! Big thanks to the programming staff at Midland Center and the audience for trusting the music and spending the evening with us! There were some fine folks in the audience who’d been seeing the band in the area since the 80’s. Feeling grateful.
