Our friends in the Chicago area have been celebrating Mardi Gras at venue the for years. We all know it was Bill FitzGerald who started this tradition and kept it alive, presenting authentic Louisiana black roots music, like zydeco.
Since Mardi Gras was cancelled this year for the world, some folks are celebrating in the fall, when it seems safer for us to gather in larger groups.
We’re aptly calling it Tardi Gras – better late (tardy!) than never. We can hardly wait to be reunited with all our good friends in Chicago!
Tickets go on sale July 23.
