……….require extraordinary measures, and an extraordinary amount of love, respect and patience.
And did I mention patience?!
Some days are harder than others. Truth.
We are all doing the very best we can to process this strange time in our lives and in our history.
One morning I watched the news – like most, but instead of the daily COVID 19 updates, the cable news showed photos of Americans who we have lost to this pandemic. They told the story behind the smiling face. Young and old, black and white, male and female.
Our hearts are heavy. Every. Single. Day.
We are constantly looking for a glimmer of hope and happy in the heavy, and we usually find it.
Like most people – we all believe in being hopeful as it’s not only a good choice daily, it’s my only choice!
In case you are wondering, ALL of our tour dates are officially canceled for 2020 – next level heartbreaking for everyone.
But we power through it. Together.
Truth is, we (us creators) need the music as much as y’all do!
So we continue to plan for the future by working on our 2021 performing arts calendar and finishing up a new record.
The band is def doing its part, we #stayhome, we work around the house – and do sh*t we can’t do when we’re on tour.
There is fishing and shedding going down – and singing and renovating a studio – oh, those last two would be me!
All the boyz in the band are keeping healthy in mind and body.
I’ve also been doing some cool solo stuff with a very creative presenter in Iowa.
We’ll also be gearing up for a new menu of music services available soon.
Like all of you, we are also into doing our part, staying safe and we def #maskup when we go out!
Special shout out to ALL the frontline workers in healthcare, retail, food service as well as ALL the parents with school age children at home with them balancing their own careers/work with home schooling and parenting. Can’t image a greater challenge.
We applaud ALL of you!
Peace + love,
Terrance
