We’re obsessed with these two remarkably articulate students whose comments at the top off the video, and we cannot get enough of them! These two very impressive young students give us great hope that the future is definitely in good hands. They were actually two of 3000+ students we reached during our 5 day residency with Freeman Arts Pavilion and Joshua Freeman Foundation in Selbyville, DE in February and March, 2023. They just blew our minds – all of them! These student audiences were smart and attentive, and their hearts wide open to new experiences – and to new genres of music as well! This is a great testament to the teaching and parenting skills of the grown folk who are guiding these extraordinary young people on their journey to the future. Big applause and much respect all around.
A thousand thanks again to Freeman for believing in us and the power of live performances. Special thanks also to the school administration and teaching staffs who invite us into their schools to share the culture. We are beyond honored to have their trust and we take that responsibility very seriously, but also with so much love and joy in our hearts.
