Michael died on Nov. 21, 2013 of inoperable brain tumor. This was the same day Terrance buried his own Mother, Ethel Simien. On Jan. 20, 2014 Terrance and the Zydeco Experience were invited to perform at Michael’s celebration of life at Stage 48 in NYC. Guests will include his wife and children, a host of major league baseball players, team owners and the new MBLPA Executive Director Tony Clark. Simien and his band mates are honored and humbled to be part of such an important event to honor such a remarkable man.
