School time performances are back and we could not be happier!
UPDATE: Jan. 2023. Most of our upcoming tour starting mid February and ending mid March are for student audiences. We have a five day residency of really interesting outreach activities curated by the amazing women at George Mason Univ in Manassas, VA. There are two student matinees and two public performances as well. Our dear friends at Freeman Foundation in Selbyville, DE have us working with their students in their schools for four whole days! Every other public performance on the tour also has a corresponding student matinee. This is the same model that has worked so well for us for the past 23 years since we created Creole 4 Kidz.
We know what a challenging couple of years it’s been for parents, teachers and students during this most extraordinary time in our lives.
We also understand we still need to be diligent and careful during the Covid spikes, but not gonna lie – it feels crazy good to be reunited with our student audiences! They give us so much life, hope and inspire us like nothing else can, every-single-time we’re together.
Recently, we had two sold out theatre performances for some truly exceptional elementary and middle school students. They were smart, attentive and in the moment. And did we mention how awesome their teachers and administrators were as well?!
Some of them weighed in and we are very flattered, humbled and grateful to be part of these memorable moments and experiences!
